Alisia Ortega is a Co-Founder of Couture Virtual Consultants. She attended the University of Iowa where she received a B.A. in Spanish and Music, a minor in Portuguese and a Certificate in Latin American Studies. Alisia is bilingual in English and Spanish.
She began her career working at a non-profit in Chicago, Illinois. She briefly paused her professional career to raise her three children. When she re-entered the work force she continued to work in the non-profit sector.
She has experience in customer service, administrative services, and direct legal services. Alisia previously provided immigration legal services and represented clients before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the Executive Office of Immigration Review- Omaha Immigration Court.
Alisia enjoys helping her clients manage their day-to-day tasks. Working with clients in a variety of fields keeps each day interesting and brings new opportunities to learn skills. She enjoys the flexibility that working as a virtual assistant offers.
Alisia was born and raised in Nebraska. Alisia lived in Chicago, Illinois for several years and lived in Guanajuato, Mexico where she taught English. In her free time, Alisia keeps busy with her kids’ activities, she enjoys photography, spending time with friends and traveling.
